The conference theme is…
Clinical Practices that Support the Recruitment, Preparation, and Retention of Teachers”

In keeping with this theme, we welcome proposals related to all areas of the recruitment, preparation, and retention of teachers. Areas of specific interest include addressing the shortage of teachers in Virginia, the impact of policy and reform on teacher preparation, and clinical partnerships that support both teacher candidates and practicing teachers.

Proposals should address one of the following conference strands:

  • Recruitment, Preparation, and Retention of Teachers
  • Innovative Clinical Partnerships and Practices
  • The Impact of Policies and Reform on Teaching and Teacher Preparation

Interested presenters should submit a proposal by Monday, February 5th. Graduate students are encouraged to submit proposals.
